Carlee was the only female in the litter. I had a special bond with Carlee as she stayed with us a bit longer than her litter-mates and I got more one on one time with her. As a breeder I know I can’t keep every pup and my ultimate goal is to get the pups to excellent homes. Carlee is definitely headed to a great home. She will get lots of time tracking as she was bred to do. She will also get plenty of companionship time with her recently retired owner. Working dachshunds do better when they spend time with their owners and aren’t just placed in a kennel until it’s time to hunt or track. A bond is built that helps the dog and owner perform better as a tracking team.
