Hey Brian,
Chui was again the hero. Very long track, down and up 2 deep canyons and 2 formidable mountains.
Cheers,

Vimy

Vimy

Vimy is owned by Scot Davidson. Vimy has been used as the stud dog in our recent breeding’s.  Scot and Vimy have been having a good 2016 tracking season.  Scot wrote that the above deer involved an 18hr. old track that went about 500 yards.

On this buck track

Scot wrote;

Tough track across over 300yrds. of picked beans with no visible blood after 20yrds. Found blood on the other side of the picked beans and the deer in thick brush. Thought it had expired as his head was on the ground but he got up with Vimy attached to his rear. Vimy made easy work of finding the buck 4 more times on the hot trail and the hunter was able to dispatch him.Total of 3/4 mile successful track.

Fritz’s Successful Illinois Track

Fritz with a successful recovery

Derek of Illinois owns and tracks with his dog Fritz. Fritz has been having a great tracking season this year. Fritz came out of our B-Litter in 2011. Here’s his story of a beautiful Illinois buck track and recovery.

Derek wrote: Sunday afternoon I got a call from a local guy who films all his hunts for ‘Whitetail Explorer TV’ on the Sportmans Channel.  While filming his Sunday morning hunt he made a not so great gut shot on a monster. He wanted to give the deer 12-14 hours before trailing and asked if Fritz could help. I had to work today so I told him we could try when I got off work at 430pm. He said he would look for the deer in the morning and let me know.

30 1/2 hours after the shot we took up the track, pouch shot to boot. The deer ran 150 yards, left no blood the last 100 yards, made a large circle cutting his original trail and Fritz nailed the track to find the prize! We will see if he makes the Sportmans Channel on this track?

Congratulations Derek and Fritz. Nice job!

I have a friend in Idaho that is expecting a litter of pups from his bitch Dossie.  Dossie came out of our D-Litter. Edd and his wife own, and run a hunting lodge in Idaho. They are experienced and excellent handlers. If you are interested in one of these pups and would like more information please contact:

Sage (Sage Von Riggan Hibbs SW) will be 5 months old in about a week. I kept her from our last breeding. She has a great temperament along with a really good nose. Here are a couple pictures of her enjoying the fall leaves.
